Green Bay Packers vs. New England Patriots
The Green Bay Packers and WPS Health Insurance paid special tribute to Marine Corps Captain Brandon Mills during the Packers-Patriots game for Operation Fan Mail.
Brandon, originally from Decatur, Tenn., joined the Marines in 2004. He served as the Battalion Logistics Officer for 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines, and was responsible for the sustainment and maintenance of the battalion. He deployed to Afghanistan with this battalion in 2012 and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his outstanding service in supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
He also served two tours in Iraq in 2007 and 2008, and has received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, as well as the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Brandon was serving at the Pentagon as the Marine White House Liaison Officer for the Secretary of the Navy. In this role, he managed the Presidential Support Program and conducted research and provided responses to Marine Corps related inquiries submitted to the White House on behalf of the President.
Brandon and his wife, Nora, have been married seven years and have two sons, Andersen and Nathan.
