Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers
The Green Bay Packers and WPS Health Insurance paid special tribute to Chief Master Sergeant Kevin Chronister during the Packers-49ers game for Operation Fan Mail.
Kevin was serving in the U.S. Air Force’s 612th Air Communications Squadron (ACOMS) stationed in Davis-Monthan, Ariz., as the Chief Enlisted Manager. He provided senior leadership for the 612th ACOMS by managing and operating over $75 million in command and control equipment, ensuring rapid and responsive support for U.S. Southern Command and 12th Air Force peacetime and contingency missions. He also advised the commander on all matters pertaining to the worldwide readiness, utilization, training, morale, and the quality of life of all Air Force personnel assigned to the 612th ACOMS.
A Slinger, Wis., native, Kevin served in the Air Force for 27 years, having entered as a law enforcement specialist in 1985. Throughout his career, he was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base (AFB) in Montana, Hill AFB in Utah, Keflavik Naval Air Station (NAS) in Iceland, Elmendorf AFB in Alaska, Langley AFB in Virginia, and in Kalkar, Germany. He has also deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Accompanying Kevin to the game were his wife, Barb, and children, Samantha and Alyssa.
